1977
Marc Deman
Interior architect and founder of Decodeman. His parents were builders and passed their craft on to him. Later he restored countless farmhouses, including our holiday home that we rent out, Villa Deman.
1994
Mia Vools
Mia, Camille's mother, joins in 1994 and turns the furniture and decor shop into a true concept store. Handbags, jewellery and later clothing find their place next to the interior: the mix that still defines Decodeman today.
2022
Camille
In 2022 Camille takes over the shop completely and a fresh breeze blows through Decodeman once more. Since her arrival the shop has taken on a younger, more colourful and more contemporary look. With respect for what was already there, she gives Decodeman her own fresh touch.

Atmosphere is about more
than furnishing.

Atmosphere comes from the way you combine things: complementary colours, an armchair you love settling into and that one object that feels just right.

OUR SMALLEST COLLEAGUE

Omer is
one of us too.

Omer is Camille's dachshund and by now a familiar face in the shop. You will usually find him in his favourite sunny spot at the front of the shop window, and in winter as close to the fireplace as possible. Plenty of customers walk in and ask for him straight away.

A little headstrong, but completely at home at Decodeman.
