World map wall clock with moving radars, black, 48 cm

This black wall clock with a world map is the same clock as the large version, in a size of 48 cm that fits on an ordinary wall. It has a reflective rim and reflective numerals on the glass plate. On the dial is a globe with cut-out continents, and behind it radars move that you only half see.

Dimensions

• Diameter: 48 cm
• Thickness: about 6 cm
• Hook on the back for hanging

Collection only

Because it is fragile, this clock is not sent by post either. You can collect it free of charge at the shop.

48 or 80 cm

The difference is bigger than the numbers suggest, because a circle grows in two directions at once. The 80 cm clock claims an empty wall and becomes the centre of the space. This 48 cm one fits alongside other things: above a sideboard, in a kitchen or in a study. If you are unsure, mark out the circle on the wall first with masking tape.

Where it hangs

Above a work surface, a cabinet or a door. In a kitchen it is best hung where cooking steam cannot reach, because grease settles on the glass plate. In a study or hallway it works well at eye level.

Hanging

The clock is easy to hang with the hook on the back. Use a wall plug or cavity fixing that suits your wall, rather than a loose nail.

Care

Clean the glass plate with a slightly damp cloth and then rub dry. Never spray directly onto the clock. Remove dust on the rim with a dry, soft brush.

The partly hidden radars add something extra: you see a different little part move each time, even when you are not watching the time. There is also a large 80 cm version.

Also on show in our shop in Koksijde, where you can also collect it.
