Side table Ocean Beach in acacia wood with blue epoxy resin

This side table has a top in acacia wood, finished with a striking blue-coloured epoxy resin that recalls flowing water. The natural wood pattern and the glossy resin together give a modern yet warm look.

Material and finish

Durable acacia wood with blue epoxy resin, on a sturdy metal base. Acacia has a clearly marked grain, and because wood is a natural product, that pattern differs on every top. The metal frame gives the table a tough, industrial touch and provides stability. The colour: natural wood with a blue detail.

Dimensions

• 55 x 30 x 30 cm

A compact size, so the table also fits where there is little space. If you would like to double-check the measurements for a specific spot, feel free to ask Camille.

Where it stands

Next to the sofa or a chair, where you can put down a glass or a book. As a plant table, where the blue goes nicely with green foliage. Or as a bedside table next to the bed. Because of the small size, you can also move it easily to wherever you need it.

Combining

The blue is the only accent this piece needs. Put it with warm, neutral fabrics: linen, wool, unbleached cotton. With a second bright blue object, the shades start to compete with each other. White and sand colours make the blue stand out more strongly.

Care

Dust with a dry cloth, or wipe with a slightly damp one. Do not use aggressive cleaning products, alcohol or solvent on wood or resin. Do not put hot or wet objects directly on the top, but use a coaster. Dust the metal base dry.

Good to know

Wood and resin are two different materials in one top. The wood brings the warmth and the pattern, the resin the gloss and the colour. That makes this table an eye-catcher that at the same time remains a practical piece of furniture for daily use.
