Why bamboo

Bamboo is light and yet sturdy, and for a handle that is exactly what you want: it carries a full bag without weighing much itself. It also feels warm in the hand, where a metal frame feels cold. That sounds like a detail, but it is the part of the bag you hold all day.

Care

Shake out and dust with a soft brush, especially after a day by the sea, because sand easily gets stuck. Dab stains with a slightly damp cloth. Not in the washing machine, and let it dry fully before you put it away. Wipe the bamboo handle dry.
