• Height 45 cm
• Jute in natural colour, with lid

What you use it for

Extra towels, throws, the children's toys in the living room, cushions or firewood. Because the basket is wide and not so high, you see at once what is in it once the lid is off. That makes it suited to things you use every day.

Round or square

A round basket looks softer than a square one and stands nicely free in the space, for example next to a sofa or at the foot of a bed. Against a wall or in a corner some space is left over; there a square model is more efficient. If that is what you are looking for, there is also a set of two tall square jute baskets with lids, 62 and 64 cm high.

Combining

Jute goes with wood, linen, wool and rattan, and brings warmth to a sleek or white interior. Lay a throw over the rim or put a plant next to it for a relaxed look.

Jute and moisture

Jute is a natural fibre that absorbs moisture. In a well-ventilated bathroom that is fine; in a damp cellar or store room you are better off not putting it.

Care

Dust with a soft brush or with the vacuum cleaner and a brush nozzle. Dab stains with a slightly damp cloth, then leave to dry well. Do not wet it and do not put it in the washing machine.
