Side table in gold-coloured aluminium

A side table in gold-coloured aluminium that takes up little space and still stands out. The design is sleek and modern, the colour is a warm gold: that combination gives a restrained interior just enough tension without taking over. The table measures 64 x 33 cm.

Material and finish

Aluminium in a gold colour. Aluminium is a light metal, so you can easily move the table when you want to rearrange the room or need it next to another sofa for a moment.

Where it goes

In the living room next to an armchair or sofa, for a glass, a book or a small lamp. Next to a bed as a bedside table for someone who needs little. Or simply somewhere with one object on it, to show off your favourite decoration: a vase, a candle or a figurine.

Styling

Gold against dark wood gives warmth; gold against white marble gives contrast. Put two next to each other in different places if you want to fill a larger surface without setting down a full coffee table.

Care

Dust with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use scouring powder or harsh cleaners, because they can damage the gold finish. Remove fingerprints with a slightly damp microfibre cloth, then rub dry. Put a coaster under anything wet or hot.

Good to know

Aluminium is light, and that cuts both ways. You move the table with one hand, but it is also easier to knock than a piece in stone or solid wood. In a home with small children or an enthusiastic dog that is something to bear in mind.
