Zeneb side table with wrapped cord in orange and black

This round side table stands out by its design: a robust base, finished with orange and black cord wrapped around the middle. That gives a warm, graphic accent that you read as a block of colour at a distance and as texture up close.

Material and finish

A sturdy base with cord in orange and black around the middle. The cord gives the piece a soft, tactile side you would not immediately expect of a side table, and the contrast between the two colours makes the pattern graphic. If you want to know more about the finish, feel free to ask Camille.

Dimensions

• Height 45 cm
• Diameter 32 cm

Where it goes

Next to your sofa, at about the height of the armrest, where it carries a glass or a book. But it is just as much a decorative element in itself: in a corner, by a window, with nothing on it. The shape and the pattern are enough.

Styling

Orange and black are bold colours. They work best against a calm background, in an interior with plenty of natural tones. Do not put a second brightly coloured object next to it; let this piece be the accent. Two of these little tables side by side, slightly pushed apart, read as one whole and give more usable surface.

Care

Dust with a soft brush or a feather duster, in the direction of the wrapping. Cord absorbs moisture, so do not use a wet cloth. Dab stains dry; rubbing pushes them deeper into the cord.

Good to know

The cord is the reason you choose this piece and at the same time the part that needs a little attention. Cord is textile: it catches dust, absorbs moisture and can fade in strong sunlight. So do not put the table right in front of a south-facing window, and use a coaster for anything that can spill.

The top itself is small, at 32 cm in diameter. Count on a glass and a book, not on a tray with cups.
