The fringes

You see fringes on the sides mainly when you move. At the front this is a calm, plain jumper; seen side-on and with every step the detail comes forward. That makes it suitable for anyone who wants something playful without it standing out at once.

The high neck

A high neck keeps you warm without a scarf and gives the face a calm frame. It works well with earrings or a short necklace over the neck; a long necklace disappears into the folds of the knit.

Composition

40% viscose, 30% polyamide, 20% wool and 10% cashmere. Viscose makes the knit supple and soft, polyamide keeps it in shape and the wool and cashmere give warmth. The result is a jumper that feels soft on the skin, even with nothing underneath.

Why ecru

Ecru is white with a warm undertone. It looks softer than bright white and so goes with camel, brown, denim and grey. Under a dark coat, light ecru brightens the face, which is welcome in the winter months.

Combining

With jeans for a stylish, casual look, with boots or trainers. With brown or camel trousers for a tone-on-tone look. Let the jumper hang loose, so that the fringes on the side stay free.

Care

Always follow the care label. A jumper with wool and cashmere generally needs gentle treatment: by hand or on a delicate cycle, and left to dry flat on a towel. Straighten the fringes with your fingers as you do so. A light colour such as ecru is best stored folded and out of the sun.
