Dining chair Coco with curved back and full upholstery

A dining chair whose backrest runs around you in a flowing curve, with graceful lines that recall the shape of a whale. That shape is not only visible but also tangible: it supports your back where a straight backrest lets go of you.

Material and finish

The chair is fully upholstered, including the back and the armrests. The fabric is soft to the touch but hard-wearing, which counts for a dining chair: this is the piece of furniture that is used most often. The seat is wide and deep and has a plastic base.

Dimensions

• Width 61 cm
• Depth 53 cm
• Height 81 cm
• Seat height 48 cm

Available shades

Coco, White Pearl, Beige and Taupe. All four are natural, muted shades that adapt to the table instead of competing with it.

Where it stands

At a dining table, 61 cm of width is the measurement to keep in mind: with armrests you need a little more room per chair than with a model without. Measure your table before you order. Outside the dining room, this chair also works as a desk chair or as a separate seat in a bedroom.

Seating comfort

The padding continues through the seat, the back and the armrests, which means you can stay seated at the table for a long time. The seat height of 48 cm suits a standard table height of 75 to 78 cm.

Care

Vacuum regularly. Blot stains straight away with a dry cloth and dab them, do not rub. For more stubborn stains, lukewarm water with a neutral soap is enough, always tested first on an inconspicuous spot. Because the upholstery continues into the armrests, that is where wear shows first: vacuum there regularly too.

What you need to know before you order

With armrests, the width of 61 cm is the measurement that counts, not the seat width. Also measure the height under your tabletop: the armrests must be able to slide underneath when you want to push the chair in.
