Round dining table in natural mango wood with conical base

This round dining table in mango wood is left natural, so you can see the structure of the wood clearly. The top measures 120 cm in diameter and the table is 76 cm high. The base consists of wooden slats joined together like a cone, and is otherwise completely closed.

Material and finish

Mango wood has a lovely structure, and that gives the table a natural look. Because the wood is left natural, that pattern stays clearly visible. The round tabletop is finished with a nicely rounded edge sloping down, which gives the table a soft line. Thanks to the design, the table has a Scandinavian look.

A round table in the home

A round dining table makes eating a shared moment: nobody sits at the head and everyone sees each other. A round top also has no corners, which is pleasant in a dining room where you need to be able to walk around the table. Because the table stands on a central conical base, you do not have four table legs to think about when pushing in chairs. If you are unsure how many chairs fit comfortably around it for you, feel free to ask Camille.

Combining

Natural mango wood has a warm, natural look. Dark chairs give contrast, light or natural chairs keep the whole calm. The Scandinavian line of the table shows to best effect with simple chairs without much decoration, a linen table runner and a pendant lamp in a natural material such as reed or ceramic.

Care

Wood left natural generally needs a little extra attention. Wipe up spilled liquid straight away, use coasters for hot dishes and wet glasses, and dust with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Feel free to ask Camille which care product suits this table best.
