Poncho style

A poncho falls straight down off the shoulders, without a waist. That makes the cape easy to put on over what you are already wearing: a jumper, a blouse or a dress. The shape is roomy, but thanks to the button closure it stays neatly closed.

Three-quarter sleeves

The sleeves stop halfway down the forearm. That lets the sleeves of your jumper or blouse show underneath, which is a lovely way to add colour or texture. Long gloves are a classic combination with this kind of sleeve.

Invisible closure

The buttons are concealed, so the faux fur runs unbroken all the way down. That keeps the cape calm and elegant, even though the material has a lot of volume.

Beige or taupe

Beige is light and warm; taupe is a grey-brown shade that looks a little calmer. Both are neutral enough to wear over almost any outfit.

Combining

Over a fine polo neck and straight trousers, or over a dress for an evening. Because of the roomy shape, whatever goes underneath works best slim and simple.

Care

Follow the care label. Keep faux fur clear of heat in general: not in the tumble dryer and not left to dry on the radiator, because the fibres curl and will not smooth out again. Shake the cape out after wearing and comb it lightly in the direction of the hair if needed. Hang it with plenty of room, so that the pile is not crushed.
