The hood

The hood is large and enveloping, so on cold days you really put it up and do not just wear it as a detail. Folded down, it lies like a soft collar around your shoulders. It gives the coat character at once and turns a fur coat into something modern and cosy.

The hook closure

You hardly see hooks. Closed, the faux fur runs on unbroken, with no buttons to break the line. Open, the coat falls straight down and shows what you are wearing underneath. Both ways work, depending on the weather and your outfit.

Faux fur

This is imitation fur, so not an animal product. The soft faux fur feels pleasantly warm, which makes the coat ideal for cold days.

Combining

With jeans and boots for daytime, or over a knitted dress for an evening. Fur adds volume, so something slim works best underneath: straight trousers, a polo neck, a slim skirt.

Care

Follow the care label. Keep faux fur clear of heat in general: not in the tumble dryer and not left to dry on the radiator, because the fibres curl and will not smooth out again. Shake the coat out after wearing and comb it out lightly in the direction of the hair if needed. Hang it with plenty of room in the wardrobe, so that the pile is not crushed.

About the size

With a straight fit, the shoulder determines how the coat falls. If you are between two sizes, choose based on what you most often want to wear underneath: a thin blouse or a thick jumper.
