Side table in gold-coloured aluminium with octopus motif

This gold side table is inspired by the octopus and brings a playful and glamorous touch to any space. The little table is made of aluminium and measures 45 by 45 cm, with a height of 65 cm.

Material and finish

The table is aluminium in a gold colour. The shape refers to an octopus, which gives the piece a different look on every side. The gold colour catches the light and makes the table stand out, even when nothing is on it. It is a bold piece, and that is exactly the idea. If you like an interior with humour and a nod to the sea, you will find an eye-catcher here.

Where it stands

Next to a sofa or armchair, where you can put a cup of coffee, a book or a small lamp. In a hall as a place for keys and post. Or simply in a corner as a decorative object. In a house by the sea, where the maritime theme returns somewhere already, it falls entirely into place, but in a city apartment too it brings a wink.

Combining

This is a piece with a striking shape and a striking colour. Put it in an otherwise calm setting, because next to many other bold objects the effect is lost. A single object on the top is enough. Gold combines nicely with deep blue, green and warm wood shades, and with soft fabrics such as velvet or bouclé.

Care

Dust with a soft, dry cloth or a feather duster, which reaches the details of the shape better. For fingerprints, a slightly damp microfibre cloth is generally enough, followed by buffing dry. Do not use abrasives, so that the finish stays beautiful.
