Pendant lamp with 3 lights for the dining table, cotton thread shades

This pendant lamp with three lights is an eye-catcher for above the dining table that adds warmth and atmosphere to your interior straight away. Three beige lampshades of stretched cotton thread hang on a metal ceiling bar and give a soft, atmospheric light, ideal for long evenings at the table.

Materials and finish

• Three lampshades of stretched beige cotton thread
• Metal ceiling bar
• Ceiling bar and shade finish with a refined wood print

The wood print gives a lovely balance between robust and natural. Because the bar and the shades share the same finish, the whole looks like one lamp rather than three separate pieces.

Above which table

A row of three lights works best above a rectangular or oval table. Hang the bar along the length of the table and keep the shades within the outline of the top, so nobody bumps into them when standing up. Measure your table and feel free to ask Camille for the exact dimensions of the lamp.

Height

Hang the underside of the shades at about 75 to 85 cm above the tabletop. That way you can still see each other across the table and the light stays focused on the surface.

Light

The stretched cotton thread makes the light diffuse and soft. Choose warm light sources, and dimmable ones if possible: three lights together give plenty of light, and with a dimmer you set the mood for a quick lunch or a long dinner.

Styling

The beige shades and the wood print suit a wooden dining table, chairs in rattan or fabric and a country or contemporary interior. A row of three also looks lovely above a kitchen island.

Care

Dust the shades with a soft brush, in the direction of the thread, and keep them dry.
