What the belt does

A one size without a waist falls straight. With the belt you decide where the waist sits and how tightly you pull it in, and together with the supple fit the same jacket works across a wide range of sizes. Worn loose it looks more nonchalant, with the belt fastened you get a clear line and a smarter look.

The two colours

Burgundy is the bolder one: it calls for calm clothing underneath and works strongly with camel, cream and navy. Dark brown is the calmer one and goes with almost everything warm in tone, such as ecru, cognac and denim. If you are unsure, lay the two colours next to what you already have in your wardrobe.

What it goes with

Over a dress, over a fine knit or on jeans. The jacket makes a simple outfit smarter straight away, and with boots or loafers you have a look that works both by day and in the evening. For a calm whole choose clothing in the same colour family, for more contrast combine burgundy with light trousers or a cream jumper.

Care
