Pendant lamp Palm Tree in palm fibre, half sphere

A pendant lamp in the shape of a half sphere, with palm fibre over the metal structure of the shade: that is the Palm Tree pendant lamp. The palm fibre gives the lamp an exuberant and at the same time elegant style. This pendant lamp always stands out and gives allure to everything it lights.

Materials

• Shade in the shape of a half sphere
• Metal structure covered with palm fibre
• Shaped by hand

Handmade, and what that means

Every lamp is handwork and is shaped by hand. As a result, dimensions, shape and colour can differ slightly between one piece and the next: each piece is unique. The colour of the natural fibre also softens with time. That is not wear, but belongs to a natural material. If you want to know the exact measurements, feel free to ask Camille.

Where it hangs

Above a dining table, in a stairwell or in a hall with some height. Hang it in a place with space around it, so that the half-sphere shape shows to best effect and the lamp works as an eye-catcher even by day, switched off.

Height

Above a table, you usually hang the underside at roughly 75 to 85 cm above the top. In a hall or stairwell it may hang higher, because there it is mainly a decorative piece.

Combining

Palm fibre goes with light wood, rattan, linen and plenty of greenery. In a white or sand-coloured interior the lamp brings warmth and texture, in a contemporary interior it provides a natural accent. Combine with a wooden dining table and chairs in reed or fabric.

Care

Dust the shade now and then with a soft brush or feather duster, in the direction of the fibre, and keep it dry. If in doubt, have the connection done by a professional.
