Round railway wood coffee tables with glass top, set of two

This set of two round coffee tables combines old railway-track wood with bevelled glass tops. The small table has a diameter of 70 cm, the large one a diameter of 90 cm, and the small one can slide completely under the large one.

Material and finish

The wood is old railway-track wood and carries the marks of that previous life: grain and colour differences give each base character. On top lie bevelled glass tops. That means the edge of the glass is cut at an angle, a detail that catches the light and draws a fine line around each top. The contrast between old wood and clear glass completes the set.

Dimensions

• Large coffee table: diameter 90 cm
• Small coffee table: diameter 70 cm

How you use them

Slid together, the two tables form a compact whole for daily use. Pull the small table out and you have two tops, handy when you have visitors or need a bit more room for drinks, books and snacks. You can also put the small table elsewhere, for example next to an armchair.

Where they go

In front of the sofa in the living room is the classic spot. Thanks to the flexibility the set also works well in a smaller space: pushed together when you need floor space, pulled out when you want more top surface.

Styling

The warm wood and the glass suit an interior with pure materials. Combine with a sofa in linen or leather, a woollen rug and a few books or a bowl on the glass. Leave some of the glass free, so you can keep seeing the wood below.

Care

Clean the glass with a glass cleaner, sprayed on the cloth and not directly on the plate. Dust the wood dry as a rule. Old wood keeps working a little with the seasons, and small colour differences belong to the material.

Delivery

This set is delivered free of charge in West Flanders. For delivery in another province it is best to get in touch first, and we will sort out the arrangements together.
