A lamp you see even without light

This is a lamp you do not choose only because you need light. By day it is a decorative object, in the evening it gives mood lighting. A piece like this looks best on a calm surface: a console in the hallway, a sideboard with little on it or a wide windowsill. Among lots of other things it gets lost, and only on a free surface does it become an eye-catcher.

Art deco at home

The twenties stand for graceful lines, glass and metal, and a touch of glamour without excess. The lamp suits an interior with velvet, brass, dark wood or marble, but also gives a playful accent in a simple, light interior. With its beach theme it also feels good in a house by the sea.

Light

Choose a light source with warm white light; that suits the retro mood best and gives a soft, cosy glow. At 58 cm high it is a striking piece, so give it a spot with enough room around it.

Care

Always unplug it first. Dust with a soft, dry cloth or a brush. Wipe the glass with a slightly damp cloth and dry it straight away. Do not use harsh cleaning products. Lift the lamp by the base.
