The collar

The collar is the point everything revolves around. It is extra wide and contrasts with the wool, so it frames the face and gives the cape character straight away. On cold days it closes warmly around your neck, making a scarf unnecessary.

Fit

The cape is deliberately cut generously, with sleeves that drop off the shoulder. That gives a soft, round line instead of a tailored silhouette. The zip keeps the front neat, so all that room hangs tidily. The welt pockets are set in flat and do not disturb that line.

Sizes

S/M corresponds roughly to size 36 to 42, L/XL to roughly size 42 to 46. If you are between the two, come and try on both. Because the model is oversized, it is less about your exact size than about how roomy you want to wear it.

Styling

Over a thick jumper and straight jeans, with boots. Or over a knitted dress, with the dress peeping out under the cape. A slim trouser or a straight skirt keeps the whole in balance, because the cape itself already has volume.

Care

Follow the care label, and if in doubt feel free to ask Camille for advice. Between wears, airing and brushing is enough. Hang the cape on a wide hanger, so the shoulders keep their shape, and give the collar room in the wardrobe so it does not get squashed.
