THE DECODEMAN COLLECTION

Metal model aircraft

A metal model aircraft is a decorative piece with a story behind it. In our collection you will find desk models and large display pieces in aluminium and metal, inspired by iconic aircraft: the Concorde, the Spitfire, the Constellation and the Trimotor with its corrugated metal wings. They look good on a desk, a bookcase or a sideboard, and make a fine gift for anyone who loves aviation. The models range from 21 cm to more than a metre. Camille chooses them herself, without brands. We ship with bpost within 48 hours, with delivery to all of Belgium.

Small desk model or large display piece

For a desk or bookshelf, the smaller models are ideal. Autour du monde is an aluminium 1950s Constellation of 21 x 26.5 x 18 cm, for 95 euros. The Concorde small is 46 cm long and made of aluminium.

If you want a real eye-catcher, choose a large model. The Tin Goose in polished aluminium measures 20 x 102 x 67 cm and recalls the Trimotors built between 1926 and 1933. Queen of the skies is a metal Constellation of 70 x 75 x 13 cm.

Details that make the difference

  • The Spitfire large has retractable main wheels, a sliding cockpit canopy and a working rudder.
  • It comes on an aluminium stand with a plaque.
  • Polished aluminium catches the light and suits classic and modern interiors alike.

Styling and care

Place a model aircraft beside books or a world map wall clock for a travel theme. A sailing boat fits the same mood. A dry, soft cloth is all you need for dusting. Looking for a present? Also browse our gift ideas.
