Constellation aeroplane model Around the world, aluminium

This aeroplane model shows the Constellation of the fifties, an aircraft that made history. The model is made of aluminium and is a size that suits a desk well, where it draws attention straight away.

Dimensions and material

• Length 21 cm
• Width 26.5 cm
• Height 18 cm
• Aluminium

A piece for the desk

At 26.5 cm wide and 18 cm high this model is compact enough for a work surface where work still gets done. It takes up little space, but thanks to the recognisable shape of a classic aeroplane it still stands out. Ideal if you like the shape but have no room for a large model.

Where it goes

Besides a desk it also looks good on a bookshelf, a sideboard or a windowsill. Put it against a calm background so that the line of the aircraft shows well. Among books with colourful spines or too many other objects, a model of this size quickly disappears. A free spot at eye level works best.

Styling

Aluminium goes well with wood, leather and black metal, and feels at home in a study, a reading corner or a bookcase with travel books. Combine it with a globe, old travel books or a world map on the wall for a little travel corner. It is also an original gift for anyone who loves aeroplanes, travel or the fifties.

Care

Dust with a soft, dry cloth or a feather duster. Remove fingerprints with a slightly damp cloth, then rub dry straight away. Do not use abrasive products or harsh polish on the metal. Pick the model up carefully under the fuselage and not by the wings.
