THE DECODEMAN COLLECTION
Draught excluders
A draught excluder sits at the bottom of a door to keep cold air out. The warmth stays in the room and you feel fewer draughts around your feet. At Decodeman, a draught excluder is also a decorative piece, so it never looks like a makeshift fix. The rabbit draught excluder is made of cotton, measures 20 x 90 cm and has a zipped cover that can be washed at 30 degrees. It is a small purchase that makes an immediate difference in autumn and winter. Draught excluders are sent with bpost within 48 hours, and collection from the shop is free.
Why use a draught excluder?
Many interior and exterior doors have a gap underneath. Cold air slips through it, especially in older houses or at a door leading to a hallway, cellar or conservatory. A draught excluder closes that gap without any changes to the door. Simply lay it against the bottom of the door and push it aside whenever you like.
The right length
Measure the width of your door and compare it with the length of the draught excluder. The rabbit draught excluder is 90 cm long and 20 cm high, and costs 34.95 euros. If your door is a little narrower, the excluder can easily extend a few centimetres beyond the doorway.
Material and care
- The cover is cotton, a natural fabric that feels soft.
- Thanks to the zip, the cover comes off easily.
- It can go in the washing machine at 30 degrees. Dry it flat.
Pairing it with the room
A draught excluder is on show in a hallway or living room, so choose one that suits your cushions and throws. Add a warm throw or a sheepskin and you have a cosy corner for the winter months. It also makes a practical gift. The draught excluders can also be seen in our shop in Koksijde.
